About the Position

We are seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time CT-licensed LCSW to join us at The Hive Counseling in Southbury, CT beginning in June 2025.​

Key Resonsibilities

• Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions with clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop treatment goals and create personalized treatment plans.

• Provide clinical assessments, case management, and progress notes in accordance with state ethical and professional standards.

• Maintain client confidentiality and ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines.

• Utilize telehealth or in-person services based on client needs.

• Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision.

• Attend ongoing professional development and training to maintain licensure.

• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented practice culture.

Hive Counseling is a private practice providing high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, across the lifespan.

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the emotional and psychosocial needs of older adults and/or a background in grief, bereavement, aging, and life transitions. This candidate will also have a passion for supporting clients in their emotional  and mental health journey, that aligns with our approach to service delivery.

Job Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited program.

• Licensed in Connecticut.

• Experience providing individual therapy, preferably in a private practice or similar setting.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and ethical standards.

• Liability insurance required.

Job Summary

As a clinician at Hive Counseling, you will provide therapeutic services to a diverse client base. You will be responsible for conducting individual therapy sessions, assessing client needs, creating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client records. The role is flexible and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Compensation

• Competitive per-session rate, based on experience, on a bi-weekly pay schedule with an annual W2.
